Australian Solar Installation Data
You may not be aware, but every month the Clean Energy Regulator publishes data of the solar small scaled installations that have had certificates validly created against them. It makes for an interesting read, although there are no statistics or measuring device for the number of batteries installed within Australia.
As at 1 June 2017, their have been 1.692million small scale PV installations in Australia over a 17 year period, with 51,169 solar PV installations so far in 2017 as compared to 131,261 installations in 2016. This represents 5.741GW in cumulative installed capacity.
In terms of individual State performances, QLD has currently 14,300 installations as compared to 34,093 installations in 2016. NSW has 11,747 installations as compared to 29,115 installations in 2016. WA and Vic are consistent in their uptake for 2017 with 11,053 and 8,413 installations respectively as compared to previous installations in 2016 of 24,081 and 26,376 respectively.
It’s time you joined the solar revolution and help build Australia’s largest virtual solar farm.
