Australian Solar Installation Data

You may not be aware, but every month the Clean Energy Regulator publishes data of the solar small scaled installations that have had certificates validly created against them. It makes for an interesting read, although there are no statistics or measuring device for the number of batteries installed within Australia.

As at 1 June 2017, their have been 1.692million small scale PV installations in Australia over a 17 year period, with 51,169 solar PV installations so far in 2017 as compared to 131,261 installations in 2016. This represents 5.741GW in cumulative installed capacity.

In terms of individual State performances, QLD has currently 14,300 installations as compared to 34,093 installations in 2016. NSW has 11,747 installations as compared to 29,115 installations in 2016. WA and Vic are consistent in their uptake for 2017 with 11,053 and 8,413 installations respectively as compared to previous installations in 2016 of 24,081 and 26,376 respectively.

It’s time you joined the solar revolution and help build Australia’s largest virtual solar farm.

Selection Tips

  1. Match your selected system’s estimated daily output against your current and future power needs and intended bill savings and FIT earnings.
  2. Avoid the pitfalls of well marketed but underperforming & inferior systems. Always assess, investigate and acquire truely capable systems and components, that are engineered and market proven to provide the greatest level of energy generation and efficiencies; just like the systems we offer.
  3. Invest wisely. Our systems provide a greater level of performance and output, with reduced pay-back periods. Our systems excel in performance, are market leading, sustainable and are fully warranted products.
  4. Consider selecting a larger system to meet your growing energy needs and to gain greater utility bill savings.
  5. Be more independent, consider battery storage solutions to maximise energy supply during peak load demand, evening and morning periods; and potentially earn GridCredits.
  6. Visit ‘electricityandgas.com.au’ to find the best export tariff and electricity rate offers to gain greater bill savings.
  7. Consider speaking to our system designer to acquire a tailored solution design or to learn more about the capabilities of our superior performing systems and its individual components.
