Environment Policy

Concise Energy has a strict environmental policy to ensure our impact on the environment is minimal. We are committed to:

  • Assisting individuals and firms to adopt optimally designed renewable energy efficient practices and systems that assist others to support the environment by reducing their contribution to greenhouse gas emissions through the reduced consumption of diesel, the use of diesel generators, and the reduced consumption of coal produced grid electricity,
  • sourcing and promoting environmentally friendly renewable energy products and systems for others,
  • Applying sound environmental management practices across our entire business,
  • Using suppliers that pursue great environmental practices,
  • Complying with all relevant environmental legislation and regulations, and
  • Improving our overall renewable energy offerings and systems as more advanced technology is available in the market place.

Privacy Policy

At Concise Energy, we aim to provide our customers with the best possible service. In doing so, we are committed to protecting your privacy and the security of your personal information. “Personal Information” means any information concerning the personal or material circumstance of an identified or identifiable individual that we have collected from you when you have either contacted us, acquired a system from us and or you have engaged our services. Personal Information includes names, contact details, email, addresses, payment details and any other information that we may receive about you from time to time. We use and process your Personal Information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988(Cth). All collected Personal Information about you may be used for internal research purposes and to provide an agreed commercial service to you. All Personal Information will be treated as strictly confidential and will not be disclosed to 3rd parties without your express permission, unless the 3rd party is a party to the provision of the agreed service, such as to provide verifications, processing of payments, processing of connections or processing of grant applications. We may use cookies in the provision of web-site services. You can set your browser to notify you before you receive and accept a cookie or you may set your browser to block the cookie. Upon request, we will disclose the Personal Information that we hold about you. You are entitled to correct your Personal Information and to rescind your consent to the storage and use of your Personal Information. You may contact the Privacy Officer at Concise Energy by emailing info@conciseenergy.com.au or calling 1300 727 808 to address questions with regard to your Personal Information, or about processing or deleting your Personal Information. If we have not responded to your enquiry within 30 days or you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner by calling 1300 363 992, emailing enquiries@oaic.gov.au, mailing GPO Box 5218 Sydney NSW 2001 or visiting www.oaic.gov/privacy.

Complaints Policy

If you are unhappy with our electrical or energy services or products provided to you, you can access our internal complaints and dispute resolution procedures by contacting us to discuss your concerns. Contact the Customer Service Team on 1300 727 808 or info@conciseenergy.com.au. Access to the internal dispute resolution procedure is free of charge. We will do everything within our power to resolve your concern as quickly as possible. If we have not resolved your concern within 21 days, we will advise you by telephone or we will write to you about the progress of your matter. If you are not happy with our response to your concern or if we have not responded or resolved your matter within 45 days, you can contact the relevant consumer office in your State, ie New South Wales Fair Trading on 13 32 20 (or refer to www.fairtrading.nsw.gov.au), Queensland Office of Fair Trading on 13 13 04 (or refer to www.fairtrading.qld.gov.au) or Consumer Affairs Victoria on 1300 558 181 (or refer to www.consumer.vic.gov.au). If you are dissatisfied with the complaint resolution of our workmanship, you may contact CEC on 03 9929 4100 (or refer to www.cleanenergycouncil.org.au), and for all electrical safety concerns, the electrical authority in your State, ie NSW Fair Trading on 13 32 20, Queensland Electrical Safety Office on 07 3225 2000 or Energy Safe Victoria on 03 9203 9700. These offices are independent bodies set up by the Government to help resolve complaints through conciliation. Access to the offices in your State are free of charge. Please note that the scope of matters that they can deal with is limited by legislation, and it is possible that they cannot deal with your matter. They will advise you if they will deal with your matter, and if so, what information you need to supply. It is highly recommended that it would be in your best interest to resolve your matter amicably with our team.
